The Biscuit Factory Spring Exhibition begins early March
Situated just outside of Newcastle City Centre, the Biscuit Factory, is hosting a Spring Exhibition over the Easter Holidays. The exhibition actually begins in early March and runs until May. As well as seeing the exhibition, the Biscuit Factory is an unusual place to visit, offering afternoon tea, or lunch, visitors can eat in the Factory Kitfchen, or the Artisan, headed by Andrew Wilkinson who was voted North East Chef of the year. The Spring Exhibition is by a number of artists, including Basia Roszakm, wher she produces dreamlike portraits which capture snapshots in time. Other artists include Lizzie Row, and Moy Mackay. With a number of other artists, there is certainly plenty to see.
The Biscuit Factory is a small independent art gallery, which houses many contemporary art exhibitions, inc luding prints, paintings, textiles, jewellry, as well as furniture. There is a shop onsite where customers can buy designer goods, gifts and other collectables. The building is a former Victorian warehouse from 1870. It houses exhibition space and galleries. It is open 7 days a week.
